Louise Macdonald Milliner opened her studio in January for a "garage sale", offering vintage materials (veiling, buttons, straw braids, hat boxes and stamen), leather and fabric offcuts, straw and felt hat bodies, feathers, straw fabrics, hat seconds, polystyrene heads, trims and flowers and more. Other studios in the Nicholas Building also had sales – it was a chance not just to buy unique items but also to take a peek into some of the studios!
